There are three versions, depending upon which type of Macintosh system you have. Please be sure to download the correct version:

Audiocorder for Mac OS X
Download this version if you are running Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.14. These versions are all Universal Binary, and
will run native on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. If you have 10.5 or earlier, download
version 4.9.0 of Audiocorder, which is further down on this page.
Note that Audiocorder is a 32 bit program and does NOT run under macOS 10.15 Catalina.
